Now choosing KOI8-R continues with English messages. Is it intentional (it is better as nothing of course). Anyway, I wished for a long time separate settings for installer language and system locale. IIRC it was even discussed in cooker. Unfortunately, installer segfaults starting installing packages (the very first package, ldconfig). Again it must be the problem of no ramdisk (32MB) because I installed @home without problems. -andrej
