In 8.0 I was able to install and run WP8 by first installing ld.so-1.9.11-4mdk.i586.rpm and libc-5.3.12-35mdk.i586.rpm both from cooker. When trying the same on the 8.1 Beta ld.so-1.9.11-4mdk.i586.rpm conflicts with installed pkg ldconfig-2.2.4-2mdk.i586.rpm. If I use no depends the WP installation will attemt to run in text mode but can not create the necessary directories. If I first uninstall ldconfig the results are the same. Charles
