have you tried having 2-3 Linux distros ( or installations)+ FreeBSD on
the same mashine
can you install lilo on 2 places ? or on second drive
why not lilo -> /dev/hda ----->> lin-distroes,grub
grub -> /dev/hdb----->> FreeBSD?lin-distros?smth else
