> what is your scanner ? > chmou wdyt of added them ? Its a microtec phantom 636 (close enough, im not near it at mo) and i when i looked on the ppscsi website/sane website it is no listed as supported (at least in alpha - but thats better than nothing), and the list of scanners seems to have grown quite considerably since a year ago. It would be really nice to have some of these supported, and if i remember correctly, i think the patch used to be included in mandrake 7.2, but i might be wrong. Also, i cant for the life of me get modules to copmile in the kernel source that comes with mandrake 8.1, even if i use make CC=kgcc i get all sorts of cpu and error in stdio.h/stdarg.h files. - -- Tom "Tomahawk" Badran Department of Computing, Imperial College - -------------------------------------------------------------- PGP Public key available from keyserver.pgp.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE70Bs1XCpWOla2mCcRAtaVAKCjV1dedUQSuIJO/HvhZyHZQ4sA/ACgvPt5 KaQxXpLLl4hfosIEUkOh0DM= =OpS6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
