Hi all,

Just finished trying the RedHat 7.2. Well, believe it or not, absolutly no
problem even when booting from the CD (unlike cooker for which we need to
boot with the network.img). The disks and mouse get detected without any
problem, and the installation seems to want to go on.

BTW, once ML 8.1 or cooker is installed on the Compaq, the machine hangs
while detecting new hardware. Changing the kudzu safe option to yes in
kudzu.conf (so that the serial ports don't get probed) solves it all. There
definitly is a problem with the serial ports probing.
