Agreed, it says it has driver which supports cads up to G550, and
theres one guy who installed 8.1 and the X worked.

At least for G400 fb was disbled. It needs special kernel support as
it does _not_ have full VBE support (theres a DOS TSR to add it). So I
compiled my own kernel with the support built-in.
Works fine except it will need some video mode tweaking.
Could anyone enable the fb? Theres no problem with it, you just need
the driver loaded some time during boot when it is not built-in.
