Someone flame me if I'm off my rocker, but... My understanding is that the 7xxx series Radeon cards are souped-up versions of the ""old"" Radeon classic. THe 8500, on the other hand, has a new core, and needs new drivers as a result. So, until support for it statrts to creep into XF86, I'll stick with my Radeon-classic. -- *Chuck*
