Both 8.0 and 8.1 on a full expert and full network install completely neglect to install the nfs-clients RPM, thus disabling any attempt at nfs-based networking.
6.1 completely fails to install wheel logic for a PS/2 mouse with a wheel. 8.0 could be persuaded to by post-installing imwheel, but there is no imwheel in the 8.1 distribution. 8.1 will not run on one of my machines my machine with a Soltek motherboard. All that happens is a long loop involving the ASCII penguin. Mandrake should mot countenance any thought of 8.2 until 8.1 is finished. The above are all killers. -- Ron. [au]
