Hi

Version.        (fmirror ftp.uninett.no)
Mandrake Linux Cooker-i586 20020131 12:35
/ChangeLog/1.638/Wed Jan 30 00:26:51 2002//

I am in KDE, with eight desktops, two konsole, one konqueror, one mozilla and
one kmail is up.

I press Ctrl-Alt-Del and in the dialog window I press OK for logout.

In the console mode I get:
Waiting for X server to shut down DCOP: unregister 'kded'
[guran@One09 guran]$ kdeinit: sending SIGTERM to children
kdeinit Exit.
DCOPServer: slotTerminate() -> sending terminateKDE signal
DCOPServer: slotSuicide() - exit

Here I have a complete 'loop', and the above two DCOP take a very long time
to appear. Have to hit Enter to get to prompt.

According to my understanding the closing down of of the xserver should
function like a FILO queue, here it looks like the xserver is shut down prior
to KDE.

regards
guran
