i have a Crystal 4232 soundcard.

my modules.conf shows

probeall scsi_hostadapter ide-scsi
alias eth0 8139too
#alias sound-slot-2 ad1848
alias sound-slot-0 cs4232
alias midi opl3

and all my devices in /dev/sound exists so that is not
the problem.
