that was one bug one month ago. but there were already the "internal compiler error" with -frename-registers you disable at -O3 because of this :-( remember the changelog (3.0.3-2mdk on jan 25 2002) : - Patch608: Temporarily disable default activativation of register renaming at -O3 since it looks bogus, at least on ix86. don't look for an excuse for having re-enabled this option today :-) everyone sucked from times to times ...
