As Robert made, i fixed in my lilo.conf the assignment for my disks, and lilo works now ! disk=/dev/hda bios=0x80 disk=/dev/hdd bios=0x81 I wonder why it had trouble with this assignment, but now i have a wonderful graphical lilo boot. thanks Pixel. Stef
