Hi! When the system crashes, /var/lock/subsys is still full of files from the services which were running when the system crashed. Because of this, some services do not start at the next boot, and sometimes the system simply hangs (cf. my loadkeys problem).
To fix this problem, /var/lock/subsys should be completely emptied as soon as the FS is mounted RW.
