(audio) Actually, at the moment, the OSS driver might be the better choice, since I notice a short crisping sound at the beginning of playing a soundfile with ALSA when using OSS emulation. When using arts the problem is not there (probably because it keeps the device opened instead of re-opening?). The advantage from ALSA is ofcourse midi, otherwise kmidi tends to just 'hang' when a webpage sends a midifile, very inconvenient.
