Hi Martin I think you misunderstand me I need kernel version 2.4.18-rc2 if I get the tar bal from kernel.org supermount is'nt built in to it so I need to patch supermount into that kernel, unless someone has already produced 2.4.18-1mdk or what ever has 2.4.18-rc2 in it
