[Cooker] powertweak won't run

Is there a trick to getting powertweak to run?  powertweakd just exits
after opening a few normal libs (exit value 0).  powertweak does the same
but it's exiting with -1.  gpowertweak fails to an assertion failure:
initfunctions!=(void *)0).
