I realize that at various times and for various 'good' reason pkg rpms are uploaded that either will not run or do not do so in their normal manner with normal results. When this fact is known by the packager could this fact not also be included in the changelog. It would make life so much easier for us poor users who haven't a clue.
A case in point is rpm-4.0.3-7 and its default to i386 for builds on all arch.
Just a suggestion.
