Well, it was probably my own error. At least beta4 does not do this. I think I may have answered "yes" to logging in automagically , thinking I was answering whether I wanted KDE as my default environment or not. Suggestion: Move the windows manager line below the yes/no boxes, to make it clearer what you are actually confirming. Keld
