In the LM8.2 beta's I complained about no sound in KDE2.2.2 on startup. They fixed it. I was happy.
Now with KDE3 there is no sounds on startup again. I have Vendor: Ensoniq Model: 5880 AudioPCI Kernel Module: es1371 Bus Type: PCI The logout sound works, but the startup sound does not work. Yes I have all the sound checked off in the control panel and start sound server and volumes turned up.
