Translation: i downloaded linux-2.4.18.tar.tgz (it's on my desk) and i like to know how to upgrade Linux from 2.4.8-26mdk to 2.4.18. Did someone can help me with a step by step because i'm a totaly newby. I install Linux only two days ago and i spend a long time trying to install my eci usb modem.
