I hate responding to my own e-mails ;) but it may be worth mentioning that this only seems to be a problem for laptops with a PCMCIA netcard. I installed on my desktop today and the samba drives were properly mounted (at boot time) without any tweaking of rc?.d. -Jason ========================= 'You know me,' said Rincewind.
