I would appreciate that. I don't understand, however, why Mandrake would not want the fix for general release. I still don't understand the rush to put out a broken kernel, so many side vendors depend on an existing kernel for their ports (such as win4lin).
I also understood there were a few issues with xfs and this kernel, does anyone remember what they were and have they been resolved also?
