I have a stable mdk 8.2 installed with a linux partition with the
following partitioning scheme:

/boot
swap
/
/usr
/home
/var

I have 13 GB of space reserved for linux as a whole for both Cooker and
stable combined.

I want the best optimal scheme with a seperate partion for both /var
and /usr.
I would change the setup to the following:

/boot
swap
/
/usr
/var
/home

without Cooker and

/boot
swap
/
/usr
/var
/2 (Cooker /)
/usr2 (Cooker /usr)
/var2 (Cooker /var)
/home

with Cooker. Actually, / can be used for both, correct? I won't need to
create a seperate / for Cooker, right?
I want to be able develop java applications using both. Will this work
or is there a better setup? TIA
