Hello, I use Mandrake 8.2 and I think there is a typo in the /etc/sysconfig/apm-scripts/resume.d/3sound file.
While trying to restart the sound module, the commands in the file is /etc/ini.d/sound restart whereas it should be /etc/init.d/sound restart Thanks to fix it if it's not already done, it's in the package apm-scripts and here is the version I have : rpm -q apm-scripts apm-scripts-0.1-3md Thanks !
