Since it is a MPEG encoding library, it is probably using MPEG patents => can't go in cooker nor contrib.. But nothing prevents you to have a xine-dxr3-libfame which provides/obsoletes xine-dxr3 package -- Frédéric Crozat MandrakeSoft
