I had the same problem after upgrading to beta 2 and found that /dev/radio0
was
there, but not /dev/radio which the radio tuner programs look for.  A
symlink from
/dev/radio to /dev/radio0 took care of it:

ln -s /dev/radio0 /dev/radio
