Hello, I have just spent many hours trying to make mandrake work w/ an hpt372 raid controller. I even made a driver disk with custom-compiled drivers to load up in expert mode, but the insmod failed. I know you can modprobe hptraid from the console, but in order to install mandrake it needs to be in the list of available drivers to load. (Incidently gentoo worked flawlessly after modprobe sd_mod and modprobe hptraid, it found the raid.)
If there's some step I'm missing here that'll make it work, please let me know. Thanks. -Preston Cody
