I followed the suggestion of copying the beta3 CDs to disk, and using
Ron Stodden's downloader to sync up to cooker. I've successfully sync'd
3 or 4 times now, but when I try to run MakeCD, I am consistently
getting the following error (although the package name changes):

mkcd_build_hdlist: write /tmp/Cooker/1/hdlist.cz
choosing compression method with "gzip -9" for archive
/tmp/Cooker/1/hdlist.cz
bad header /tmp/.mkcd_build_hdlist/kde-i18n-de-3.0.2-3mdk.noarch
real archive size of /tmp/Cooker/1/hdlist.cz is 8863994

My impression is that all of the package names mentioned in the error
are ones originally copied from the CD (rather than downloaded). In one
case, it was the kernel package for 19-3, which wasn't even in RPMS.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong ?
