The problem of the first CD is linked to hdlist files. As these files
does not exists, it must istimate the size they will use given the
free space available for rpms. Of course this estimation is
aproximative and results, depending of the packages put on the CDs
after the real build, in not exact disc size.

That is one of the reasons why optimize_space is needed.

Of course a another solution would be to manually adjust the CD size
after one try, or to change the hdlist estimation size accordingly to
experiments.
