i tried to run gst-register as root... didn't help :-(
there's no error message when running gst-player..
neither when starting rhythmbox.... which btw. now won't even start up
:-)
it shows that splash-screen, and from the 3 icons below the first is
lit, but the others don't... and nothing more happens :-(
