I have a Compaq 715US Laptop, and It will not reboot with Mandrake cooker (most recent) either. It will reboot to the compaq startup splash screen, but then just sit there. The system reboots fine with any Micro$soft OS, but with Mandrake, it won't. I have to shut the system off, and turn it back on again. -- John
