Hi! I just found out by accident that with beta4 on my laptop xchat does not display the euro symbol (iso8859-15). KBCHARSET is set to iso-8859-15, but LANG=de_DE not LANG=de_DE@euro, on a german (Germany) installation. Maybe that's the reason ? (Maybe the LANG variables handling has changed since last release)
