It is possible that Mozilla was running also, I do not know for sure, but it 
is probably better than 50% likely that it was sitting idle too, therefore it 
may have had a refreshing banner ad or something.

Top says I have exactly 386568K RAM
I have 602396K swap, usually 34088K used or so.  ( Rule of thumb 2 X RAM )

My behavior remains pretty constant, I have not seen this until now with 
RC1.

I am right now burning RC2 CD's so I will not be RC1 very much longer if
there is something I should look at in more detail.

FYI - I also have 2 NIC's like another recent post involving Unreal 
Tournament.  I do not have Unreal Tournament however, but one 
of my NIC's is indeed Idle.  ( You never know... )
