I don't quite see why you want to boot your installed system from
a CD. The bootdisk is an alternate way to boot your system, as
opposed to installing a bootloader (lilo, grub). It can also help
when your bootloader is damaged, but you may also use the
"rescue" feature of the installation CD: insert it, hit F1, type
"rescue" and press enter.

we are a commercial company, our commercial product doesn't only
contain software on it but manuals, boxes; when you count the
timelines for commercial marketing offers and the rest, you end
up with a release process that is not compatible with eternal
delaying; we do have the possibility to move the schedules but as
long as the time goes and goes, only "important" then "critical"
problems may delay a release. 

gosh, this issue always comes back for each release :-(..
