I installed
9.0rc3 and rebooted, it started up fine and went into Gnome. While in Gnome I
tried to change the security level from standard to higher. I sat there for 30
mins while it looked like ti was installing some packages. When I came back to
the cpu it was frozen and the cursor wasn't even showing. I then rebooted but
got frozen at the Gnome start-up screen, where the background is blue and the
silver gnome plate is in the foreground. I then switched to atl-ctl-F1 and
proceeded to login. I changed the initab from 5 to 3. I then rebooted and got
into the account successfully. When I try to startx from that point, I get this
error in my ctl alt F12 windows.
XINETD: Libwrap refused connection to sgi_fam from XINETD: FAIL: sgi_fam libwrap from XINETD: Can't get clients address: transport endpoint is not connected I have installed and re-installed a bunch of times and get the same error. I think this error also kills my connection to the internet. I bet it has to do with the Justin Wetherell
