KDE 3.0 is rather bloated and slow on my Athlon 1133 266FSB with 1 Gig
PC133. Gnome 2 is fast and sleek however. I have been a KDE user on Mandrake
in the past, but on 9.0 , I think Gnome is the only way to go. One bug issue
in 9.0 that I remember from some older editions of Mandrake , /net can't
unmount and shutdown hangs there. I don't really need NFS , so I will
disable it to get clean shutdowns, but if you do need it I supposed it might
be a small problem.
