Hi,

I was locked out of the system: After I typed a password I immediately
got bounced back to the log in screen.

14:47 Han| Anybody else locked out of the system with the latest updates?
14:50 Han| it must be something with /dev/fs

No Han, wrong idea.

14:52 Han| or the new security system

No. No. No.

So I rebooted single user and then su - han and:

14:53 Han| /etc/init.d/mandrake_consmap:17: perminsion denied: /proc/567/fd/0
14:54 Han| that file is chmod 644
14:57 Han| check

Yup. A chmod 744 /etc/init.d/mandrake_consmap fixed it.

Somebody forgot to use rpmlint? ;)

Groetjes, Han.
