Here the logs when I install mdk by ftp (ftp.lip6.fr mirror - ADSL line @ 65k/s) :

Is it optimal ? I think no. I thing there is a mistake due of "ftp get failed, sleeping before trying again". It perhaps loose time. Thanks to take a look to it, Florent
