------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-12-20 19:40 ------- Yes I am in supermount mode. By the way, there is a separate issue with mounting these devices if you already have the IDE SCSI driver installed for a CD writer. In those instances the device does not even configure the partitions correctly. Regards, Donald On Fri, 2002-12-20 at 08:33, [Bug 335] wrote: ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-01-19 01:25 ------- One of the problems ist the bad /usr/share/apps/kdesktop/Desktop/dynamic_mnt_removable.desktop, becaus the line Dev=/mnt/removable There must be a devicename like /dev/sda1. If you change this you get the listing of /mnt/removable an not the URL http://navigation.realnames.com/resolver.dll? displayed! The bug is in /etc/dynamic/scripts/part.script: drakupdate_fstab --auto (line 269) will only output: /mnt/removable usr and therefore Frederic call: call_hooks add part $mpoint $mpoint This is wrong, and should be call_hooks add part $mpoint $dev as in line 56 for the old /usr/sbin/updfstab. Another problems 9.0 (same dynamic package): - the fstat line will never be removed. - usb-storage will never be removed - the kde icon dynamic_mnt_removable will alway stay on the desktop. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is. ------- Reminder: ------- assigned_to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] description: I was testing the dynamic mount of a USB storage device. It correctly appeared on the KDE desktop after being inserted and was mounted. Clicking on it though either resulted in an already mounted error rather than opening a window showing the files it contained. Listing the devices mounted showed it mounted twice.
