I am using the Mandrake 9.1 beta2 version, and am having the same problems
with my HP deskjet 932c printer not being installed properly.
It easily recognizes that I have the printer, as well as the exact model, but
it comes up with errors when attempting to print, preventing me from printing
anything because it did not install correctly.
Although there were many bugs with the 9.0 version, this was not an issue in
the 9.0 version which set up my printer easily by default.
I am a newbie, and strongly feel that it is crucial that all popular hardware
be easily recognized, and setup flawlessly by default, as Knoppix 3.1, or
RedHat easily does.
As a result, this will provide confidence for consumers who want a reliable
operating system other than Microsoft Windows.

description:
When I attempt to install my local hp722C printer, I am asked to insert CD 1,
but after I do, I am immediately prompted for CD 1 again, and this continues
until I cancel out of the window asking for the CD. It appears that the CD is
not being recognized. I am unable to complete printer installation.
