if you have a DVD *and* a burner, this is a known bug that will get fixed with a new kernel or by adding ignore=hdX where hdX is the DVD drive. if you have only one drive (this is how i understand Simon Ree's message), please send me the files in /etc/devfs/conf.d and /root/drakx/report.bug.gz
