Ran a fresh install this morning. Updated drakx is really NICE! Nice
to see the stars down the left side gone. They were there since 7.0
weren't they? :-)
(Mmmm, 7.0. I liked it so much better when Mandrake used pastel blue.
The dark blue in 8.0 looked much more like you-know-who OS. And pastel
blue is much more emo!)
The mail setup looks really cool. Will be excited to see that working.
Also the summary page is great... more options, all together. Very
functional.
Few questions:
Why not interactively setup soundcard/sound system? (like draksound
does) Several people have asked for this. Although it can be done
later, it looks professional, and let users fix autodetection mistakes.
What happened to xfree options? (noaccel, hwcursor, etc.)
Other than that, it looks and works great.
