My Microsoft USB optical mouse has the same problem with Beta 2 and Beta 3. I
didn't try Beta 1. For me at least, it appears that the problem may be with
overall USB support and not just the mouse itself. I have a Gigabyte KT400
based motherboard with both USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 connections. My mouse doesn't
even work during the installation. If I reinstall 9.0, the mouse works fine.
The mouse also works fine in XP Professional on the same box (I have a dual-
boot setup).

description:
After a successful install of Mandrake 9.1 Beta 2, the cursor is not responding
to the mouse. I have a Logitech USB Scroll Mouse, cordless optical. The mouse
works fine with the same machine booted into Windows 2000, and worked fine with
Mandrake 9.0. I ran mousedrake from a root terminal and it successfully detected
a USB scroll mouse, I accepted that choice. However, the cursor was still not
responding.

Attached is the bug.report.gz file from my /root directory.
