description:
there is a bug in package howto-html-en-9.0-0.1mdk
the bug is that there are two copies of each file in
the .rpm and, therefore, after installation.
For every file
/usr/share/doc/HOWTO/HTML/en/foo
there is also an identical
/usr/share/doc/HOWTO/HTML/en/HTML/foo

you can see this after installation or by doing
an rpm -qlf on the .rpm

this bug has existed for ages -- I logged bugzilla
bug 5844 against an earlier release, but it never got fixed.

I notice the cooker rpm for this package has gone from
24MBytes (the 9.0-0.1mdk size) to 35MBytes so I expect
the bug still exists in the cooker release; I cannot
download 35MBytes just to check. I spent an hour trying
to log this on MandrakeExpert but gave up after having
to enter my username and password 6 times.

Neal.
