------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-10 00:27 -------
This bug is still valid.

Here's how I reproduce:
1 Doubleclick installed printer
2 Choose "Printer connection type"
3 Choose "Local printer" with auto-detection
4 Gives me two options:
    /dev/lp0 (selected as default)
    /dev/usb/lp0 (I choose this one)
5 Printerdrake goes through configuration ending at the window which says that
the printer is configured to use photo cards. The OK button is frozen (can't
click it).
6 Behind it is another window that says to Please wait while the printer is
being configured. If I close that window (I use fluxbox--right click the
titlebar -> close), the frozen window disapears and the "Modify printer
configuration" window reappears.

The printer is configured and works properly.

description:
This one may be confusing, but it's reproducible for me. I used printerdrake to
automatically configure the P1115 (usb). It stops with the window titled "Photo
memory card access on your HP multi-function device". The OK button is
highlighted but not clickable. Now here's where the fun begins. :)

- Pressing F1 clears the window behind it, but not the "Photo memory card..."
window. The opening printerdrake window appears.
- But I can now click the OK button on the "Photo memory card..." window. This
button doesn't close the window, but changes the printerdrake window to "what do
you want to do with this printer?" If I keep clicking OK, it will keep going
through the steps in the printerdrake window.

Also some comments about the interface:

1 When manually selecting the printer model from the list of printers, the
background for the instructions and list is white. With the default size window
(only about 6 lines showing in the drivers section), it looks like the list is
cut off at the top. IMHO, a border should be around the printer listings.

2 When manually configuring the printer at the default settings screen,
clicking on the Advanced button doesn't resize the window. You have to manually
resize the window to show the advanced settings and buttons.
