description:
I did a fresh install of cooker tonight and selected English as the first
language, Japanese as a second language.
I then chose to install KDE and not Gnome and otherwise I accepted the default
packages.
However, the KDE localization package was not installed:
kde-i18n-ja-3.1-1mdk

I believe it should be installed whenever the user asks for KDE and Japanese
support. The following packages were installed, and kde-i18n-ja is conspicuously
missing:

fonts-ttf-japanese-0.20020727-2mdk
OpenOffice.org-l10n-ja-1.0.2-2mdk
locales-ja-2.3.1.4-3mdk
FreeWnn-1.1.1-0.a017.10mdk
kinput2-wnn4-v3.1-0.3mdk

Narfi.
