------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-14 00:25 ------- After a number of PC boot with the latest kernel cooker I do not have any more problem at boot up. However I would like to report again the problem when performing RPM, there is an error message telling that I do not have mdk initrd on my machine, which is not correct, as I do have it. I had to run manually initrd in order to make an initrd.img image file for the boot. This appeared with 9.1 release. I can see that mke2fs is not run by rpm of the kernel rpm file as it was twice with 9.0 distro. The occurence of this problem is once over 5 boot approximately. It is not systematic, and next boot will succeed after a hard reset. This is new with kernel 2.4.21-1mdk Bernard
