------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-16 14:53 -------
Things seem to be getting worse with rxvt-2.7.8-6mdk.i586.rpm :-(
I started konsole as the terminal, after entering the command line "rxvt" I got
nothing other than "Segmentation fault (core dumped)". As a Simplified Chinese
user, my locale is set to "zh_CN.GB2312". If I changed all the locale variables
such as LANG, LC_CTYPE, LC_NAME, etc. to "en_US", what I got was (copied from
konsole):
# rxvt
rxvt: bad option "-im"
rxvt: bad option "Chinput"
rxvt: bad option "-km"
rxvt: bad option "gb"
Rxvt v2.7.8 - released: 29 NOVEMBER 2001
Options: XPM,transparent,utmp,menubar,scrollbars=NeXT,XGetDefaults
Usage: rxvt [-help] [--help]
(More outputs are omitted)
Thus, I have to turn back to rxvt-2.7.7-9mdk.i586.rpm which is shipped with
Mandrake Linux 8.1.

description:
rxvt (in Mandrake 8.2 and also in Mandrake 9.0rc2) doesn't work.
My locale is zh_CN.GB2312 (I chose Simplified Chinese GB2312 as
the language when installing Mandrake Linux), and I had no idea
why rxvt (in fact, rxvt.cjk) can't be started in my KDE desktop.

The screen output is as following (recored by another terminal --
konsole):

# rxvt
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
# rxvt.cjk
rxvt: can't load font "-etl-fixed-medium-r-normal--16-160-72-72-c-80-iso8859-1"
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
