Hi, I sent him that and he managed to get it to work. There should be a faq or wireless help file outlining this process included somewhere in the distro. Prism3 and orinoco_cs work well together. I have never been able to get wlan_ng to work with my Prism3 cards. #Get your new wireless card working #Do the following su cardctl ident //copy manfid values edit /etc/pcmcia/misc.conf //use your editor of choice add card "My new unrecognized card" manfid: xxxxx, xxxxx bind orinoco_cs save misc.conf service pcmcia restart drakconnect # # Good Luck -- Simon Rée mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] openPGP key : http://www.codeford.com/simonree.asc ---------------------------------------------------------------- -> Please Donate to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation <- -> http://www.cysticfibrosis.ca <- ----------------------------------------------------------------
