As of yesterday, the dead keys work in the mozilla nightly builds, but still not in the latest cooker version. I'd appreciate to know if that is true for you too. Maybe it's a GTK-2.0 problem? They works fine under other X apps though. The bug is still there in Mozilla 1.3b.
